​We Need Your Help

Home4All is an active day programme in Waikanae for people living with early-stage dementia and provides day respite for their carers. We’re fundraising to support a dedicated new manager who can launch an outreach programme to increase participation by those who need respite care and take Home4All into the future.

What We Do and Why It Matters

At Home4All we follow the Green Care Farm model, offering dignity and purpose in a homely farm-like setting. Over the last 5 years it’s grown into a supportive community where visitors with dementia
reconnect with lifelong, day-to-day skills like gardening, cooking, woodwork, craft, and sharing meals with others, while their carers enjoy a well-earned break knowing that their loved ones are in safe hands and enjoying themselves.

Demand for respite care is pressing. Every hour, three more New Zealanders are diagnosed with cognitive impairment. And sadly, in approximately 18% of cases, the carer dies before the person with dementia.

How You Can Help
For approximately the cost of a cup of coffee a week, you can become a Friend of Home4All.  By donating as little as $25 per month your gift will help us:

  • Fund the salary for a new manager 

  • Provide care and connection for visitors

  • Offer respite and support for carers​

  • Reach more families across the Kāpiti Coast.
